"Within a few months of a probable capital opening, it was necessary to see more clearly the best usage of financial communication: which ratios, which perspectives, which level of detail?
The basic idea was to better know the uses of and the reasons behind the numbers of energy companies, but also of industrial groups ; the objective was to forge an opinion on the themes to develop to make our financial communication successful within the context of a probable capital opening.
Of course, we had to demonstrate efficient, representative and limited costs. That’s practically the brief given to PMP that succeeded in giving us a convincing panorama of ratios and the ways they are used: ROE (results and/or objectives), performance plans and/or productivity objectives at which degree of aggregation ; EBITDA growth objectives…
All of this was completed in record time and this permitted a mobilisation of the group in the right direction, and very certainly, contributed to the success of its IPO.
